Bio

My early musical training, at a school where singing was at the heart of musical education, shaped the path I would later follow.

After graduating with honors from the Conservatori del Liceu in Barcelona, I specialized in early music at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Switzerland, studying with Dominique Vellard and Richard Levitt.

Drawn to the richness of the traditional music of the Iberian Peninsula, I founded Vox Suavis with Dominique Vellard. Together with Baptiste Romain, the ensemble performed from 2004 to 2016. That same year, I founded Cantaderas, an ensemble of four singers whose voices are accompanied exclusively by percussion instruments.

Highlights of my discography include Il primo libro de Francesca Caccini, recorded with Ensemble La Cecchina in collaboration with Swiss Radio; La voz del olvido with Vox Suavis; and As festas do anno and Olvidadas with Cantaderas.
